Arjun Tendulkar Shines with Bat and Ball as Arcs Andheri Cruise to Nine-Wicket Victory

Mumbai, June 2026 : Arjun Tendulkar delivered a stellar all-round performance to guide Arcs Andheri to a commanding nine-wicket victory over Bandra Blasters in the T20 Mumbai League 2026 at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday.

The young all-rounder played a decisive role in both innings, first producing a disciplined bowling spell to restrict Bandra Blasters and then finishing the chase in style with an unbeaten half-century. His match-winning contribution helped Arcs Andheri bounce back strongly and secure one of the most convincing wins of the tournament so far.

After being asked to bat, Bandra Blasters struggled to build momentum against a disciplined Arcs Andheri bowling attack. Despite useful contributions from Om Keshkamat, who scored 49, and Sagarr Chhabriaa, who added 44, the team could only manage 144 for nine in their allotted 20 overs.

Arjun was the standout performer with the ball, claiming three wickets for just 11 runs in his three-over spell, which included a maiden over. His accuracy and ability to apply pressure at crucial stages played a key role in limiting the opposition’s scoring opportunities. Prasoon Singh also chipped in with two wickets for 12 runs as Bandra Blasters failed to accelerate in the closing overs.

In reply, Arcs Andheri made a positive start but lost Divyaansh Saxena after he contributed a brisk 26 runs. However, any hopes of a Bandra Blasters comeback were quickly dashed as Arjun Tendulkar and Musheer Khan took complete control of the chase.

The pair stitched together an unbeaten partnership of 116 runs for the second wicket, dominating the bowling attack with a blend of aggressive strokeplay and smart running between the wickets. Arjun led the charge with a fluent 66 not out off just 34 deliveries, striking the ball cleanly and finding boundaries with ease.

Musheer provided excellent support from the other end, remaining unbeaten on 54 from 38 balls. Together, the duo ensured there were no further setbacks as Arcs Andheri raced to 148 for one in only 13.5 overs.

The emphatic win was achieved with 37 balls to spare, underlining the dominance of Arcs Andheri throughout the contest.

Earlier in the day, Triumph Knights MNE registered their first victory of the season with a six-wicket win over MSC Maratha Royals. Skipper Suryakumar Yadav anchored the chase with an unbeaten half-century after Sylvester Dsouza produced the first five-wicket haul of the tournament.

Dsouza’s outstanding spell earned him a place in the elite list of bowlers to have claimed five-wicket hauls in the history of the T20 Mumbai League, joining names such as Shivam Dube, Badre Alam, Dhurmil Matkar and Rohan Raje.

For Arcs Andheri, however, the spotlight firmly belonged to Arjun Tendulkar, whose impressive all-round display proved instrumental in sealing a memorable victory and strengthening his team’s campaign in the tournament.

Brief score:

Bandra Blasters 144/9 in 20 overs (Om Keshkamat 49, Sagarr Chhabriaa 44; Arjun Tendulkar 3/11, Prasoon Singh 2/12) lost to Arcs Andheri 148/1 in 13.5 overs (Arjun Tendulkar 66 not out, Musheer Khan 54 not out) by 9 wickets.
