Answers to life’s most complex questions are found in Life of Lord Shri Ram: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that by reflecting on the lives of Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna, answers to many of life’s most complex questions can be found with ease. He stated that it is through Lord Ram and Lord Krishna that India has earned global recognition. Spreading light where there is darkness is the essence of Sanatan culture, and with this very spirit, Lord Shri Ram worked to end injustice and oppression thousands of years ago. Although the Sanatan tradition speaks of 33 crore deities, it is Lord Ram and Lord Krishna who have given India its distinct identity across the world. Owing to this rich historical foundation, India has long been regarded as a Vishwaguru. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed the ‘Antarrashtriya Ramayan Sammelan’ in Jabalpur on Friday.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that during the Ramayana era, Sage Vishwamitra took Shri Ram and Lakshman with him and ensured the destruction of demons who disrupted the sages’ yajnas. Through wisdom and valour, Lord Shri Ram won the swayamvar in King Janak’s court. The episodes involving Nishadraj and Shabari convey profound messages of friendship and love. Remembering Ram Rajya helps dispel even the most difficult times in life. After nearly 550 years of struggle, the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram has now been constructed in Ayodhya. He said that the intellectual strength and arguments of Swami Rambhadracharya paved the way for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The Chief Minister stated that Jabalpur is the sacred land of Sage Jabali, and hosting an international event here is highly significant. The divine presence of the Narmada and the wonders of nature are also witnessed here, where even dark stones appear radiant in the form of marble. He said the conference is being blessed by the presence of Swami Rambhadracharya and, on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh Government, extended congratulations and best wishes to delegates from India and abroad attending the event.

Union Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat described the organisation of the ‘Antarrashtriya

Ramayan Sammelan’ on the sacred land of Sage Jabali in Jabalpur as remarkable. He stated that under the double-engine government, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is moving forward toward establishing good governance and Ram Rajya in the state. Despite centuries of attempts to erase Indian culture, Sanatan traditions have endured. Union Minister Shri Shekhawat credited saints for the preservation of Sanatan culture. He informed that lectures by 120 scholars from India and abroad would be held during the conference, and devotees in Jabalpur have collectively recited the Sundarkand more than 28,000 times. Minister Shri Shekhawat said that the glory of Shri Ram has reached every corner of the world. Goswami Tulsidas introduced the world to the character of Lord Shri Ram through the Ramcharitmanas, composed in simple and accessible language. In the present era of cultural resurgence, Sanatan values are being re-established globally, even as anti-India forces attempt to malign Sanatan and Indian culture through digital platforms. He urged youth to adopt the ideals of Shri Ram and become ambassadors of the Ramayana, and said the conference should expand from Jabalpur to other cities across the country.

Swami Shri Rambhadracharya Maharaj said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav solemnised his son’s marriage in a mass marriage ceremony and that his son and daughter-in-law are undertaking the Narmada Parikrama, which he described as commendable. He explained that in the word “Ram,” Ra signifies Rashtra and Ma signifies Mangal (welfare), meaning Ram represents the welfare of the nation. Swami suggested that the true success of the World Ramayana Conference would be achieved if the Ramayana were declared the national scripture. Swami Shri Rambhadracharya, referring to recent events, said decisive action against wrongdoers reflects the Ramayana’s principle that fearlessness ensures righteousness. He also recalled that Mahatma Gandhi drew his bhajan ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’ from the Ramcharitmanas.

MLA Shri Ajay Vishnoi shared details about the Ramayana Conference, stating that the journey began in 2004 and has a multidimensional character. He said the conference will feature 25 sessions with 60 speakers from India and abroad.

A Japanese-language Haiku work authored by Dr. Akhilesh Gumashta was released on this occasion. Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture Shri Dharmendra Bhavsingh Lodhi, MP Shri Ashish Dubey, MLAs Shri Abhilash Pandey and Shri Ashok Rohani, along with scholars and devotees of Shri Ram, were present at the event.
