Overall, nearly <strong>75,000 employment opportunities<\/strong> will be generated across North Maharashtra, Chief Minister <strong>Devendra Fadnavis<\/strong> said on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was speaking at the inauguration of <strong>Toral India\u2019s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility<\/strong> at <strong>Supa MIDC (Parner taluka)<\/strong>. The event was attended by Legislative Council Chairman <strong>Prof. Ram Shinde<\/strong>, Water Resources Minister and District Guardian Minister <strong>Dr. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil<\/strong>, Industries Minister <strong>Uday Samant<\/strong>, MP <strong>Bhagwat Karad<\/strong>, MLAs <strong>Kashinath Date, Suresh Dhas, Vikramsingh Pachpute<\/strong>, Toral India Managing Director <strong>Bharat Gite<\/strong>, Thoni Aluminium\u2019s <strong>Lothar Thoni<\/strong>, and other dignitaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highlighting the scale of investment in the district, the Chief Minister said the Toral India project is a symbol of <strong>Maharashtra\u2019s industrial self-reliance<\/strong>. He stressed that the <strong>\u2018Make in India\u2019<\/strong> initiative is crucial for building an independent and self-reliant nation, adding that products earlier imported from abroad are now being manufactured in India\u2014particularly in Maharashtra\u2014thanks to entrepreneurs like Bharat Gite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CM Fadnavis said the government is focused on <strong>balanced industrial growth<\/strong>. Earlier, industrial development was largely concentrated in Mumbai, the MMR region, and Pune, but efforts are now being made to <strong>decentralise industry across the state<\/strong>. Supa MIDC stands as a strong example of this approach. He added that the state is not stopping at signing MoUs but is ensuring swift implementation, noting that the <strong>Davos 2025 agreements are being executed at a rapid pace<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He further said India\u2019s economy has risen from <strong>11th to 4th position globally<\/strong> and will soon become the <strong>third-largest economy<\/strong>. In India\u2019s journey towards a <strong>$5 trillion economy<\/strong>, the <strong>technology and manufacturing sectors<\/strong> will play a vital role, with Maharashtra taking firm steps forward. Of the <strong>\u20b916 lakh crore worth of agreements signed during the Davos visit<\/strong>, nearly <strong>75 per cent are already on the path to implementation<\/strong>, he noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emphasising sustainability, the Chief Minister said industrial growth must be <strong>environment-friendly<\/strong>. The Toral India project focuses on <strong>sustainable casting and recycling<\/strong>, reflecting the government\u2019s vision of industry and environment progressing together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Calling upon entrepreneurs to act as <strong>ambassadors of the state<\/strong>, CM Fadnavis assured full government support to industries. He said efforts are underway to ensure <strong>stable or reduced power tariffs for industries over the next five years<\/strong>. He also warned that <strong>criminal activities in industrial areas will not be tolerated<\/strong>, adding that police have been directed to take strict action against elements harassing entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Marathi Entrepreneur\u2019s Success Is a Matter of Pride: Industries Minister Uday Samant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Industries Minister <strong>Uday Samant<\/strong> said it is a matter of pride for the state that agreements signed at Davos are translating into reality. He described it as inspirational that a Marathi entrepreneur, in collaboration with foreign partners, has built an industry with a <strong>\u20b9500 crore turnover<\/strong>. He noted that advanced components for <strong>helicopters, ships, and road construction<\/strong> are now being manufactured in Ahilyanagar, which is a proud moment for the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lothar Thoni<\/strong> also shared his views on the occasion. In the introductory address, <strong>Bharat Gite<\/strong> provided details about the Toral India project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>District Collector <strong>Dr. Pankaj Ashiya<\/strong>, Zilla Parishad CEO <strong>Anand Bhandari<\/strong>, religious heads <strong>H.B.P. Namdev Shastri<\/strong> of Bhagwan Gada and <strong>H.B.P.
