Along with the Chief Minister, <strong>Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav<\/strong>, <strong>Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari<\/strong>, and <strong>Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Forest and Environment Sanjay Sharma<\/strong> flagged off the marathon in various categories. Actor <strong>Randeep Hooda<\/strong>, the brand ambassador of the marathon, was also present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chief Minister encouraged the winners of the <strong>21-kilometre elite men\u2019s and women\u2019s half marathon<\/strong> at the finish line. On the occasion, he honoured <strong>Padma Shri awardee Bhapang folk artist Gafuruddin Mewati Jogi<\/strong> by presenting him with a shawl. The marathon included categories such as <strong>21 km elite men and women<\/strong>, <strong>21 km force run<\/strong>, <strong>21 km open half marathon<\/strong>, and <strong>10 km open marathon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the early morning, amid light winter breezes, thousands of participants filled the atmosphere with enthusiasm and energy. Citizens and youth warmly welcomed the Chief Minister, who boosted the morale of participants, accepted greetings, and even took selfies with young runners. Flowers were showered on participants from a helicopter during the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notably, the international-level marathon was organised under the <strong>Alwar MP Sports Festival<\/strong>, with the theme of promoting <strong>Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s Fit India Mission<\/strong>, <strong>tiger conservation<\/strong>, and <strong>Alwar tourism<\/strong>.
