Justice <strong>Farhan P. Dubash<\/strong> delivered the final order in the matter on February 5, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The case pertained to the partition of the estate of the late Haji Alimohammed Haji Kasam Agbotwala. The estate included the entire Dahisar village in Mumbai, spanning approximately 2,891 acres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To safeguard the property, the court appointed a Court Receiver in 1950. In 1952, a preliminary decree was issued determining the legal shares of all heirs. Over the decades, the original litigants passed away, and successive generations continued the legal battle. By the time of resolution, members of the fourth generation were representing the heirs in court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following prolonged litigation, all fourth-generation heirs reached a consensus and agreed to mutually acceptable consent terms.
