Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav released the Forest Department\u2019s publication titled \u201cVision 2047 \u2013 Reimagining Forest Resources for a Climate Resilient Future\u201d at the Chief Minister\u2019s residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cVision@2047\u201d presents a long-term roadmap for biodiversity-rich, community-driven forest management in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Principal Secretary, Forest, Shri Sandeep Yadav, informed that the objective of Vision@2047 is to establish the state\u2019s forests as climate-resilient and biodiversity-rich model forests at both national and international levels. The vision document places special emphasis on encouraging the participation of local communities in forest conservation and management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It further outlines a strategy to conserve the state\u2019s forests as thriving ecosystems capable of securing livelihoods. The document also highlights efforts to preserve the natural heritage located within the state\u2019s forest areas. He stated that this vision document of the Forest Department will make a decisive contribution to India\u2019s environmental and developmental goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
