New research, emerging technologies, affordable treatment for critical illnesses, and disease prevention will all come together at the \u2018Pulse\u2019 conference being organised in Mumbai. This will certainly enhance Maharashtra\u2019s global standing in the healthcare sector, expressed <strong>Devendra Fadnavis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The medical conference \u2018Pulse\u2019 will be held at the <strong>Jio World Centre<\/strong> on March 27 and 28, 2026. The \u2018curtain raiser\u2019 programme for Pulse 2026 was held at the Vidhan Bhavan in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Medical Education Minister <strong>Hasan Mushrif<\/strong> and Minister of State for Medical Education <strong>Madhuri Misal<\/strong> were also present on the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chief Minister Fadnavis said that the State Government is working actively to successfully overcome the new challenges emerging in human healthcare. He emphasised that there is a need for the government, private sector, and public institutions to come together to address these challenges, and appealed to the private sector to find solutions through research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the organisation of this conference, major positive changes are expected in the healthcare sector through globally available technologies. The Pulse conference presents a significant opportunity to strengthen the entire healthcare system. Nearly 130 renowned doctors, academicians from medical education institutions, and researchers from across the world will attend the conference. He expressed hope that the prevailing war-like global situation would subside by then, enabling experts to attend the conference without difficulty. However, if the situation persists, experts will be connected to the conference through technological means. Discussions will be held across 20 sessions on healthcare research, emerging technologies, affordable treatment options, and therapies for critical illnesses, the Chief Minister added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He further noted that artificial intelligence is transforming the entire healthcare sector and is driving continuous change. After the successful organisation of this conference, it should be held every year, he said, expressing confidence that Pulse will play a crucial role in strengthening the healthcare system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Medical Education Minister Hasan Mushrif stated that the conference will bring innovation and research in the healthcare and medical education sectors to the forefront. Start-ups working on new ideas and solutions in this field will also get a platform at the conference. With experts, scholars, and researchers from the global industry participating, it will be possible to further strengthen the foundation of the state\u2019s healthcare system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister of State for Medical Education Madhuri Misal said that the conference being held in Mumbai will open up significant opportunities in the healthcare and medical education sectors. These opportunities will be utilised to provide quality healthcare facilities in remote and extremely remote areas of the state. She added that the conference will help define the future roadmap of the state\u2019s healthcare and medical education sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chief Minister\u2019s advisor, Pooja Misal, made a presentation explaining the vision behind organising the conference. A film based on the conference was screened during the programme, and information about the dedicated conference website was shared.
