Extending her greetings to women journalists on the occasion, she said that women\u2019s empowerment is the state government\u2019s highest priority and that the Women and Child Development Department is continuously working to strengthen women socially, economically, and educationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mrs. Rajwade said that today women are demonstrating remarkable talent and capability in various fields including education, administration, journalism, sports, and entrepreneurship. She noted that women journalists are playing a significant role in bringing important social issues to the forefront, increasing public awareness, and driving positive change through their work in the field of journalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The minister said that the Women and Child Development Department is implementing several schemes aimed at women\u2019s empowerment, nutrition, health, and safety. The objective of these initiatives is to make women self-reliant, economically capable, and to further strengthen their participation in society. The state government\u2019s priority is to connect women with the mainstream of development and provide them with greater opportunities to progress and succeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the programme, Mrs. Rajwade also referred to the cricket tournament organized among women journalists as part of the \u201cKhel Madai\u201d event recently held by the Raipur Press Club. She said that such sporting activities play an important role in promoting women\u2019s health, boosting confidence, and strengthening team spirit. On the occasion, she also presented the announced incentive prize of \u20b921,000 each to the winning and runner-up teams of women journalists who participated in the tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister Lakshmi Rajwade also inaugurated the newly constructed \u2018Pink Room\u2019 created for women journalists at the Raipur Press Club.
