Srinivas<\/strong>, the Chief Secretary of <strong>Rajasthan<\/strong>, chaired a meeting on Monday at the State Secretariat to review preparations for the upcoming <strong>Rajasthan Day<\/strong> celebrations. The celebrations will begin on March 15 and continue across the state until March 19 with a variety of public events and cultural activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, the Chief Secretary directed officials to ensure wide public participation and involvement of all government departments so that the celebrations are organized in a grand and memorable manner. Several events such as the <em>Viksit Rajasthan Run<\/em>, cultural programs, quizzes, and public gatherings will be held across the state during the five-day festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the plan, <strong>Bhajan Lal Sharma<\/strong> will flag off the state-level <em>Viksit Rajasthan Run<\/em> in Jaipur on March 15. On the occasion of Rajasthan Day, all government offices and buildings across the state will also be illuminated to mark the celebrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The formal inauguration of the festivities will take place on March 15 with the \u201cKnow Rajasthan\u201d quiz competition. In addition, essay writing, speech, and painting competitions will be organized in universities and colleges. State-level and district-level <em>One District One Product (ODOP)<\/em> fairs and exhibitions will also be held to promote local products and artisans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>March 16 will be celebrated as <strong>Rajasthan Tribal Pride Day<\/strong> at <strong>Beneshwar Dham<\/strong> in <strong>Banswara<\/strong>. The event will include a public gathering, interaction with representatives, foundation stone laying for development projects, and exhibitions showcasing tribal art and handicrafts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On March 17, <strong>Rajasthan Youth Power Day<\/strong> will be observed. A state-level youth conference will be organized in <strong>Jaipur<\/strong>, featuring employment fairs and announcements related to development projects. The \u201cKnow Rajasthan\u201d quiz will also be conducted in all districts on the same day. In the evening, the Industries Department will host a special event with industrialists where employment letters for private sector jobs will be distributed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On March 18, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will perform a <strong>Maha Aarti<\/strong> and offer prayers for the prosperity of the state. On the same day, public representatives will organize similar prayer ceremonies in temples managed by the Devasthan Department across the state. The day will also be observed as <strong>Farmers and Livestock Farmers Prosperity Day<\/strong>, with a large farmers\u2019 gathering planned in <strong>Bharatpur<\/strong>, where discussions with farmers and announcements of development works will take place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main <strong>Rajasthan Day<\/strong> celebration is scheduled to be held on March 19 in <strong>Jalore<\/strong>, where government beneficiaries will interact with officials and benefits will be distributed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the celebrations, the state-level cultural program will be organized in Jaipur by the Department of Art and Culture, while cultural events will also take place in all districts. The state-level program will conclude with a grand fireworks display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chief Secretary V. Srinivas instructed officials to ensure that the cultural events are organized in a grand and memorable manner so that people, especially youth, can experience and appreciate Rajasthan\u2019s rich folk music and dance traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senior officials, including Additional Chief Secretaries <strong>Shikhar Agrawal<\/strong>, <strong>Sandeep Verma<\/strong>, <strong>Shreya Guha<\/strong>, <strong>Anand Kumar<\/strong>, <strong>Praveen Gupta<\/strong>, <strong>Kunji Lal Meena<\/strong>, Director General of Police <strong>Rajeev Kumar Sharma<\/strong>, and Jaipur Police Commissioner <strong>Sachin Mittal<\/strong>, attended the meeting.
