The scooters, manufactured by Ather Company, were distributed for use by various police stations and the Aizawl Traffic Police. The flag-off ceremony took place at 11:00 a.m. at the Police Headquarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the occasion, the DGP stated that the electric scooters were procured to enhance women\u2019s safety and improve public security.
