Raipur, April 2026: Tourism and Culture Minister Rajesh Agrawal inspected the Mayali Nature Camp in Jashpur district and directed officials to enhance tourist facilities, expand infrastructure, and improve overall management at the site.<\/p>\n\n\n

Nestled amid the scenic natural surroundings of Jashpur, Mayali Nature Camp has been emerging as a major attraction for tourists. Surrounded by dense forests and a vast \u091c\u0932\u093e\u0936\u092f (reservoir) that glistens like a mirror, the destination offers a unique blend of natural beauty and spiritual significance. The nearby Madheshwar Mountain, revered as a natural Shiva Linga, has become a center of faith and devotion, adding to the location\u2019s appeal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his visit, Minister Agrawal conducted a detailed review of the arrangements at the camp. He assessed accommodation facilities, cleanliness, food arrangements, and adventure activities available for visitors. He instructed officials of the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board to further improve tourist safety, comfort, and overall experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlighting the potential of the site, the minister said that destinations like Mayali should be developed as key eco-tourism hubs in the state. He emphasized that such locations can attract both domestic and international tourists, offering them an opportunity to experience Chhattisgarh\u2019s rich natural beauty and cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The minister also enjoyed boating in the reservoir and appreciated the serene environment. He noted that the calm atmosphere, lush greenery, and clean surroundings provide visitors with a unique and refreshing experience, bringing them closer to nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayali Nature Camp currently offers a range of facilities, including tent houses, cottages, boating, trekking, and local cuisine. Tourists visiting the area can also explore the surrounding forests, biodiversity, and seek spiritual solace at Madheshwar Mountain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agrawal directed officials to further expand basic amenities at the camp, create employment opportunities for local youth, and promote the destination widely to attract more visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
