The initiative is expected to benefit students, youth, traders, and the general public by connecting them to new opportunities in the digital era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing the gathering, Kharra said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state government is moving forward with the vision of a \u201cDeveloped Rajasthan.\u201d He emphasised that the government\u2019s priority is not just to formulate schemes but to ensure their benefits reach the last person in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highlighting the importance of technology, the minister said, \u201cThis is the age of digital revolution, and the future belongs to artificial intelligence. Declaring Kekri as a free Wi-Fi zone is a visionary step taken with future needs in mind.\u201d He added that this initiative would strengthen the city technologically and enhance access to information and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kharra assured that there would be no shortage of resources for development works in the state. He expressed confidence that Kekri would soon emerge as a model city in terms of digital infrastructure and basic amenities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kekri MLA Shatrughan Gautam described the move as a historic step towards developing the town on the lines of a smart city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Development Projects Launched<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the event, several projects under the Chief Minister Jan Awas Yojana were inaugurated and foundation stones laid. These included construction of approach roads and CC roads, a welcome gate (Shri Ram Swagat Dwar) on Ajmer Road, drainage and road works in Ward No. 38, construction of a boundary wall for a proposed bus depot on municipal land, CC road development in a colony on Baghera Road, and an approach road from Kadera Road to the FSTP plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The free Wi-Fi project, developed at a cost of approximately Rs 3 crore, includes installation of Wi-Fi routers at key public locations across the city. The facility can support over 5,000 users simultaneously, offering free internet speed of around 5 Mbps.
