One such inspiring example is Saili Rajendra Shinde from Revangaon, who has established a thriving business in Ayurvedic and herbal cosmetic products under the brand <em>Marble Organics<\/em>, with the support of the UMED initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally from Ishwarpur and now residing in Revangaon after marriage, Saili\u2019s journey is one of determination and innovation. Her husband, Rajendra Shinde, is an engineering graduate. During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple began manufacturing sanitizers, which eventually paved the way for their entry into the beauty products sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Initially, they started with just one or two products, including Marble Organics gel. However, Saili\u2019s vision for growth pushed her to expand further. Actively involved in self-help groups, she went on to establish her own \u201cHirkani Self-Help Group.\u201d Through this group, she received financial assistance of \u20b97 lakh in two phases, which proved instrumental in scaling up the business. Today, Marble Organics produces 12 different cosmetic products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking about her journey, Saili shared that the brand now offers a range of products such as face wash, day and night creams, and lip balms. She emphasised that all products are made using completely natural ingredients without any chemicals. The raw materials are sourced from places like Ratnagiri, Mumbai, Gujarat, and Delhi. She credited her success to the unwavering support of her husband and in-laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saili also highlighted the crucial role played by the UMED (Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission) scheme in her success. The financial assistance helped her build a production unit, procure raw materials, and invest in marketing, thereby strengthening the business and increasing production capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marble Organics has not only established a successful enterprise but also created employment opportunities at the local level. Currently, around five women are employed in the unit, contributing to improving their financial conditions. Saili aims to expand this number to 50 women in the future, providing more rural women with opportunities for self-reliance and confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite being based in a rural area like Revangaon, the products are available on various online platforms. Saili has effectively leveraged digital tools, including her official website, <a>www.maarbleorganics.com<\/a>, to reach customers directly and boost sales. She has also expanded her business through contract manufacturing and brand support services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the backing of UMED, Marble Organics has grown into a symbol of empowerment and progress.
