Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump described his conversation with Modi in positive terms, saying the Indian leader was \u201cdoing great.\u201d The remarks come amid heightened diplomatic engagement by Washington across multiple regions, including South Asia and the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a notable statement, Trump also indicated he could visit Pakistan if a related diplomatic agreement is finalised. \u201cI would go to Pakistan\u2026 Islamabad, I might go. \u201cWe\u2019re not going to have lots of bombs dropping\u2026 we\u2019re going to see if we can make peace between Lebanon and Israel,\u201d he added, underlining the administration\u2019s focus on stabilising the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trump suggested that tangible progress could emerge within \u201cthe next week or two,\u201d and indicated that Lebanon would play a role in managing Hezbollah\u2019s actions as part of the arrangement. \u201cThey\u2019re going to take care of Hezbollah,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
