Lucknow, April 2026 : On the occasion of Parashurama Jayanti, individuals dedicated to spreading spiritual discourse and preserving Sanatan Dharma were honoured and felicitated in a special ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was held on Sunday at an office in Purnia, where legislator Neeraj Bora and Vatsal Bora performed traditional rituals and offered prayers to Lord Parashurama. They also received blessings from scholars and priests belonging to the Brahmin community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the gathering, Neeraj Bora highlighted the ideals of Parashurama, regarded as the sixth incarnation of Vishnu, and emphasised his commitment to protecting righteousness. He noted that teachers, saints, and scholars have played a crucial role in preserving Sanatan traditions over centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further remarked that India\u2019s cultural heritage has faced numerous invasions in the past, not only aimed at material wealth but also at weakening faith and traditions. Despite these challenges, he credited the efforts of spiritual leaders and scholars for keeping the tradition strong and vibrant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bora also pointed out that the country is currently witnessing a renewed phase of cultural and spiritual awakening. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Dwarka to Dibrugarh, he said, there is a growing revival of religious awareness. He added that the youth are increasingly reconnecting with spiritual values and showing interest in visiting pilgrimage sites, reflecting a broader resurgence of India\u2019s spiritual consciousness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by several prominent religious figures and scholars, including Swami Brahmesh Ji Maharaj from the Bade Hanuman Temple in Ayodhya Dham, Acharya Surya Kumar Tiwari from the Vindhyachal Temple, and chief priest Ramnarayan Mishra of Nageshwar Temple. Other attendees included Satish Mishra, Kripashankar Mishra, Shailendra Sharma \u2018Atal\u2019, Pradeep Mishra, Lavkush Trivedi, Anuj Dwivedi, Dayashankar Pandey, and Pandit Naval Kishore Tripathi, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Priests from various temples and members of the Brahmin community were also present in large numbers. The event was coordinated and conducted by Kripashankar Mishra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme served as a tribute to those working toward the preservation and promotion of spiritual traditions, while also reinforcing the importance of cultural continuity in modern times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
