He stated that marriage ceremonies are not a one-day event but rather the establishment of eternal values \u200b\u200band eternal rituals. Marriage ceremonies are an event that unites two families. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Chief Minister’s Kanya Vivah\/Nikah program organized by the Ujjain Municipal Corporation at the Kartik Mela ground on the banks of the Kshipra River on Sunday. On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, 112 couples were married with the blessings of Baba Shri Mahakal and Maa Har Siddhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

157,769 marriages solemnized with assistance of \u20b9867 crore<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Chief Minister’s Kanya Vivah and Nikah Yojana has become a boon for getting daughters married. Under the “Chief Minister’s Kanya Vivah and Nikah Yojana,” a total of 157,769 beneficiaries have been married and married in the state from December 13, 2023, to January 31, 2026. Approximately \u20b9867 crore was provided as assistance. In Ujjain, under the “Chief Minister Kanya Vivah and Nikah Yojana”, a total of 641 couples have been married and Nikah has been solemnized in the last two years, in which assistance amount of more than Rs 3 crore 52 lakh was provided by the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that to make the experience of devotees during Simhastha 2028 spiritual and convenient, the widening of the road from Harsiddhi Ki Paal to Ramghat at a cost of about Rs 21 crore, construction of shed for the convenience of devotees at Shri Mahakal Lok at a cost of Rs 13.30 crore, revival of Neelganga Sarovar at a cost of Rs 4.55 crore, revival of Solah Sagar at a cost of Rs 1.11 crore, modern development of Kalidas Udyan at a cost of Rs 1.59 crore, conservation of Vikram Kirti Temple Complex auditorium and development of Bangad Bhawan as a currency museum at a cost of Rs 7.73 crore, giving a modern, attractive and well-organized look to Vikram Kirti Museum at a cost of Rs 8.55 crore, the ground breaking ceremony for these works is being done on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that a new helipad is being constructed for Simhastha in Sadaval, behind Murlipura. A new airport is also being constructed in Ujjain. These initiatives will facilitate the arrival of over 400 million devotees during Simhastha 2028. They will also assist the administration in crowd management and make the Simhastha experience spiritual and enjoyable for the devotees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that to promote religious and historical tourism in the state, a new helicopter service from Bhopal to King Ram’s city, Orchha, and Chanderi, has been launched today under the PM Shri Heli Tourism Service. The PM Shri Heli Tourism Service currently operates successfully between the spiritual areas of Indore, Ujjain, and Omkareshwar, as well as the wildlife areas of Jabalpur, Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Chitrakoot, and Maihar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Municipal Corporation will widen the 265-meter-long Harsiddhi Dam to Ramghat by 15 meters at a cost of \u20b921.08 crore. The widening of the road from Harsiddhi Dam to Ramghat will facilitate the movement of devotees visiting Ramghat to bathe on various dates throughout the year. It is also a major part of the procession route of Shri Mahakaleshwar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nilganga Sarovar Revival and Beautification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation 2.0 (AMRUT 2.0), the scientific and timely revitalization of Neelganga Sarovar at a cost of \u20b94.55 crore has been carried out, increasing the lake’s water holding capacity, improving water quality, and ensuring long-term conservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The lake will also be developed into a safe, well-maintained, and citizen-friendly public space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Solah Sagar (Purushottam Sagar) Revitalization and Beautification Work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation 2.0 (AMRUT 2.0), the conservation, revitalization, and upgradation of Solah Sagar will be undertaken at a cost of \u20b91.11 crore, improving water quality, establishing ecological balance, and providing safe, clean, and attractive public spaces to citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kalidas Udyan Development Work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Kalidas Udyan, located on the banks of the Kshipra River in Ujjain city, is the city’s largest natural and ancient garden. Kalidas Udyan will be modernized at a cost of \u20b91.59 crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Interior Renovation of Vikram Kirti Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Vikram Kirti Museum will be given a modern, attractive, and well-organized look at a cost of \u20b98.55 crore. This work will include scientific conservation of manuscripts and historical sculptures (artifacts), modern exhibition displays, and interior development for the museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Installation of a Shade Structure on the Pedestrian Path at Shri Mahakal Mahalok<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n For the convenience of devotees, a 2,500-meter-long shade structure will be installed on the pedestrian path at Shri Mahakal Mahalok at a cost of \u20b913.30 crore. The Vikram Kirti Temple complex auditorium will be equipped with modern facilities while preserving its historical and cultural significance.
