Buldhana, April 2026 : Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule directed officials to ensure immediate resolution of citizens\u2019 grievances, warning of strict action against any negligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking at a public outreach programme titled \u201cJansamvad\u201d held at the Chikhli Tehsil office, the minister interacted directly with citizens and listened to their concerns. He instructed the district administration to act swiftly on all applications received and ensure that common people\u2019s issues are addressed without delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The programme witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 110 representations submitted by citizens. Bawankule engaged with attendees, understanding their complaints and difficulties firsthand. To expedite decision-making, he also reviewed the status of cases with officials from various departments at the tehsil office itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Several senior officials and public representatives were present at the event, including MLA Shweta Mahale, District Collector Dr. Pravin Kumar Devre, Additional District Collector Sudhir Khande, Deputy Collectors, Sub-Divisional Officers, Tehsildars, and other administrative staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During his address, Bawankule highlighted that special camps under the initiative \u201cChhatrapati Maharaj Revenue Camp\u201d are being organised at the divisional level to resolve public grievances more effectively. He emphasised that government officials must proactively visit villages to ensure that welfare schemes reach every eligible beneficiary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also cautioned that any laxity in work would not be tolerated and strict disciplinary action would be taken against those found negligent. Stressing the need for a more responsive administration, he directed district authorities to conduct regular reviews to ensure efficiency and accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe government\u2019s priority is to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is deprived of the benefits of welfare schemes,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A wide range of issues were raised during the programme, including land ownership rights, road infrastructure, sand mining, agriculture-related concerns, farmer suicides, housing, water supply, sports facilities, healthcare, and construction matters. Many citizens also brought forward personal grievances seeking immediate redressal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
