Construction of the international Cricket Stadium to be completed by the first week of July: Chief Minister<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Varanasi, April 2026 :<\/strong> Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Varanasi on Tuesday on a two day visit. In view of the Prime Minister\u2019s proposed visit, he held a review meeting at the Circuit House. He issued necessary instructions to senior administrative and police officials. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “Proper arrangements must be ensured at the venue, including smooth movement of women, vehicle parking, drinking water and other facilities.” Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath laid special emphasis on ensuring foolproof security arrangements for the programme. He directed that proper route diversion plans be implemented so that the general public does not face any inconvenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the meeting, Divisional Commissioner S. Rajalingam provided information through a presentation regarding the projects to be inaugurated and for which foundation stones would be laid during the Prime Minister\u2019s proposed programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n While reviewing the progress of the ropeway project, the Chief Minister directed that work be expedited. He also directed that street dogs and stray animals be kept in shelters. Proper management of street vendors be ensured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
