Once struggling with difficult terrain and lack of basic infrastructure, the village is witnessing a transformation in the lives of its residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The road has been constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana, bringing new hope and improved accessibility to the region. Additionally, under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, a nearly 3-kilometre-long paved road has been built from Amania Bangar Road Rahidand to Chaurdongri. Constructed at a cost of approximately \u20b91.74 crore, the road required cutting through hilly terrain, making it a significant engineering effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, reaching this hilltop village was extremely challenging, especially during the monsoon season when the routes became nearly inaccessible. Villagers had to walk several kilometres to meet their daily needs, and access to emergency healthcare was severely limited. With the completion of the road, transportation has become much easier, and vehicles can now reach the village directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Residents shared that earlier there was no proper road connecting Chaurdongri to nearby areas like Kui and Pandariya, making it difficult to transport essential goods. The new road has significantly eased these challenges. Access to healthcare services has improved, ensuring that timely medical treatment is now possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Villagers expressed satisfaction with the ongoing development works under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. They noted that the village was previously deprived of basic facilities such as roads, healthcare, and education. However, with the effective implementation of government schemes, rapid changes are now visible. The paved road has not only reduced travel time and physical effort but has also ensured that government benefits reach the village more efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Executive Engineer S.K. Thakur stated that connecting remote and inaccessible areas to main roads is a priority under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana. With this objective, road construction in hilly regions like Chaurdongri has been given special focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The village of Chaurdongri is now moving forward on a new path of development.
