Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that all the programs of Gita Jayanti on 8th December and International Gita Mahotsav from 8th to 11th December should be organized enthusiastically with the participation of citizens in the state. Lord Krishna came to Sandipani Ashram Ujjain to receive education. In this regard, an important decision has been taken to celebrate Gita Jayanti at various places in the state. The activities organized on the occasion of Gita Jayanti should be given an innovative form to make the citizens aware of the various aspects of the life of Lord Shri Krishna and the meaningful messages of Shrimad Bhagwat Gita. On Monday, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held a meeting on the preparations for Gita Jayanti and Tansen Mahotsav at Samatva Bhawan, the Chief Minister\u2019s residence, and gave directions to the officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that organizing statewide programmes on Gita Jayanti in Madhya Pradesh has its own special significance. Lord Shri Krishna not only visited Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh but also other places and spread the message of making human life fruitful. He set a unique example for the entire society by following work, discipline, and democratic procedures even in that era. Arjuna was an icon, but Lord Krishna himself first assimilated various principles based on the education and knowledge he acquired and then propagated them. He also accepted the irreparable loss his side had suffered in the war. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the places where Lord Krishna had visited in the state are being developed as pilgrimage sites. This is a special opportunity to preserve all the memories of Lord Shri Krishna related to Madhya Pradesh and to give information about it to the people. Preparations should be made so that the programmes of Gita Jayanti and International Gita Mahotsav become unforgettable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that spreading the messages of The Gita among students and organizing knowledge tests with the help of ISKCON organization is also commendable. All efforts should be made by government departments and local administration to make the programmes related to Gita Jayanti successful.
