The presentation focused on these plans. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Minister of Information Technology Ashish Shelar, Minister of Soil and Water Conservation Sanjay Rathod, Minister of Labour Akash Fundkar, Minister of State for Finance and Planning Ashish Jaiswal, Minister of State for Soil and Water Conservation Indranil Naik, Minister of State for Urban Development Madhuri Misal, Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik, the Chief Minister&#8217;s Additional Chief Secretary Vikas Kharge, Principal Secretary Dr. Ashwini Bhide, Secretary Shrikar Pardeshi, Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance Department O.P. Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary of the Planning Department Rajgopal Devra, Principal Secretary of the Deputy Chief Minister\u2019s Office Naveen Sona, and Principal Secretary of the Urban Development &#8211; 2 Department Dr. K.H. Govindraj, among others, were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chief Minister Fadnavis stated that urbanization is growing rapidly in Maharashtra. However, it is necessary to provide quality amenities to improve the citizens&#8217; standard of living. He emphasized that while allocating funds for the development of cities, it is mandatory to manage solid waste and sewage systems. He advised that when making improvements to the property-based GIS system for tax assessment in all municipal councils, care must be taken to avoid a sudden large increase. He also instructed to formulate a transparent policy for the treatment and reuse of sewage in cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deputy Chief Minister Shinde remarked that while providing amenities to citizens, taxes are levied on them. However, if these taxes are revised after many years, it becomes a heavier burden on citizens. To mitigate this, he suggested implementing regular but modest increases to make it easier for citizens to pay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principal Secretary Dr. Govindraj presented details on the department\u2019s planning for the next 100 days.
