She emphasized that the Mini Theatre is a significant step forward in the development of the visual arts sector and will serve as a valuable platform for artists. She also expressed happiness over Mizoram&#8217;s growing film industry and the people&#8217;s increasing interest in cinema. She commended the government&#8217;s initiatives, including the development of film-related applications and policy support for filmmakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highlighting the importance of collaboration between <strong>the Nodal Department and film professionals<\/strong>, she encouraged discussions on advancing Mizoram\u2019s creative industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inaugural event was presided over by <strong>Mr. C. Lalnunkima, Director, Department of Information and Public Relations (I&amp;PR)<\/strong>. <strong>Mr. Pratap Chhetri, Deputy Director &amp; Nodal Officer (Visual Art)<\/strong>, presented a report on the Mini Theatre&#8217;s construction and its future plans. Filmmakers and industry stakeholders also shared their views during the event. A documentary on Lianchhiari R\u00fbn was screened before the event concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the report, the newly inaugurated <strong>Mini Theatre at Lianchhiari R\u00fbn<\/strong> has a seating capacity of 100 and is equipped with a high-quality <strong>laser projector and modern audiovisual facilities<\/strong>.
