Senior leaders, including <strong>Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva<\/strong> and <strong>party vice-president Baijayant Panda<\/strong>, also met at the office to assess the party\u2019s strong electoral performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <strong>early Election Commission trends<\/strong>, the <strong>BJP is leading in 46 seats<\/strong>, while the <strong>Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is ahead in 24 constituencies<\/strong>. The majority figure required to form the government in <strong>Delhi\u2019s 70-member assembly<\/strong> is <strong>36 seats<\/strong>, indicating a decisive shift in the capital\u2019s political landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prominent AAP leaders, including <strong>Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi, and Saurabh Bharadwaj<\/strong>, are trailing. <strong>Kejriwal is behind by 1,174 votes in the New Delhi seat<\/strong>, while <strong>Saurabh Bharadwaj is trailing by 1,003 votes<\/strong> in Greater Kailash against BJP\u2019s <strong>Shikha Roy<\/strong>. In Kalkaji, <strong>Delhi Minister Atishi is lagging by 3,231 votes<\/strong> against BJP\u2019s <strong>Ramesh Bidhuri<\/strong>. Among AAP\u2019s top leadership, <strong>Manish Sisodia is the only candidate currently leading<\/strong>, holding a <strong>2,438-vote<\/strong> advantage in <strong>Jangpura<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reacting to the early results, <strong>Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva<\/strong> credited the party\u2019s success to the <strong>leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi<\/strong> and the <strong>public\u2019s rejection of AAP\u2019s governance model<\/strong>. Speaking to ANI, Sachdeva emphasized that this election was a battle between <strong>good governance and misgovernance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>&#8220;Delhi Has Rejected Kejriwal\u2019s Model&#8221;: Sachdeva<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe people of <strong>Delhi have chosen Modi ji\u2019s model of good governance<\/strong> over Arvind Kejriwal\u2019s failed administration. The city\u2019s condition\u2014<strong>contaminated water, crumbling roads, poor sanitation, and Yamuna pollution<\/strong>\u2014reflects the <strong>misgovernance of AAP<\/strong>, which the people have now rejected,\u201d said Sachdeva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He further asserted that the <strong>public\u2019s anger over corruption scandals<\/strong> and <strong>AAP\u2019s failure to deliver on key promises<\/strong> contributed to the party\u2019s downfall. \u201c<strong>Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj\u2014all of them are the faces of corruption. The people of Delhi will not forgive them, and they will lose the election because they have betrayed the public<\/strong>,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>BJP\u2019s Campaign Strategy and Key Issues<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The election campaign saw <strong>aggressive attacks from the BJP<\/strong> on AAP over <strong>allegations of corruption, poor governance, and mismanagement of public funds<\/strong>. The BJP <strong>targeted AAP over issues like the alleged poisoning of the Yamuna River<\/strong> and the <strong>lavish renovation of Arvind Kejriwal\u2019s official residence<\/strong>. Prime Minister <strong>Narendra Modi<\/strong> personally led the charge, using terms like <strong>\u201cdisaster\u201d<\/strong> and <strong>\u201cSheesh Mahal\u201d (Glass Palace)<\/strong> to criticize Kejriwal\u2019s government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>voting for the Delhi Assembly elections took place on February 5<\/strong>, recording a <strong>60.54% voter turnout<\/strong>.
