Meeting Held to Address Issues of Ranjangaon Ganpati Gram Panchayat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mumbai :<\/strong> Considering the spiritual and pilgrimage significance of Ranjangaon Ganpati<\/strong> in Pune\u2019s Shirur taluka<\/strong> and the presence of MIDC<\/strong> in the area, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar<\/strong> has directed officials to immediately implement a new water supply scheme from Ghod Dam under the Jal Jeevan Mission<\/strong> to meet the needs of the rising migrant population<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognizing future requirements, Pawar also instructed officials to set up a large-capacity sewage treatment plant<\/strong> in the gram panchayat area. He assured that funding would be provided through the District Planning Committee and the Swachh Bharat Mission<\/strong>, along with CSR contributions from industries<\/strong> operating in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

High-Level Meeting to Address Development Issues<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A meeting, chaired by Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, was held at the Mantralaya<\/strong> to discuss various concerns of Ranjangaon Ganpati Gram Panchayat<\/strong>. Key attendees included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Pawar emphasized that Ranjangaon Ganpati, one of the Ashtavinayak pilgrimage sites<\/strong>, has become a major religious and tourism destination<\/strong>. With rapid industrial growth<\/strong> due to MIDC, migratory population pressure<\/strong> is increasing on local infrastructure. Hence, he stressed the need for:
    \u2705 Immediate execution of the new water supply scheme<\/strong> from Ghod Dam<\/strong> under Jal Jeevan Mission<\/strong>
