In <strong>Kodatarai village, Raigarh district<\/strong>, the scheme has provided relief to several families, helping them <strong>save thousands of rupees<\/strong> on their monthly electricity bills. Besides cutting costs, the initiative is <strong>promoting clean energy<\/strong> and playing a crucial role in <strong>environmental conservation<\/strong>. The success of this scheme in Kodatarai sets a <strong>benchmark for other villages<\/strong> to follow in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For residents like <strong>Jaynarayan Chaudhary<\/strong> and <strong>Rajesh Kumar Chaudhary<\/strong>, the scheme has been nothing short of a <strong>blessing<\/strong>. <strong>Jaynarayan Chaudhary<\/strong> shared that his monthly electricity bill used to range between <strong>\u20b92,000 to \u20b92,500<\/strong>. Upon learning about the <strong>PM Surya Ghar Yojana<\/strong>, he immediately applied. Within a month, a <strong>3-kilowatt solar plant<\/strong> was installed at his home, costing <strong>\u20b91.9 lakh<\/strong>, with a <strong>subsidy of \u20b978,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, <strong>Rajesh Kumar Chaudhary<\/strong> applied through the electricity department and had a <strong>3-kilowatt solar plant installed within 1 to 1.5 weeks<\/strong>. His solar system generates <strong>300-350 units of electricity per month<\/strong>, significantly reducing his electricity bill. Both consumers have <strong>praised the initiative and expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>PM Surya Ghar Yojana<\/strong>, implemented on <strong>29th February 2024<\/strong>, aims to provide <strong>affordable and sustainable energy<\/strong> to Indian households. Under this scheme, domestic consumers can install <strong>1, 2, or 3-kilowatt solar plants<\/strong> on their rooftops. Interested applicants can apply at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pmsuryaghar.gov.in\">pmsuryaghar.gov.in<\/a><\/strong>. The scheme allows for <strong>an average savings of 300 units per month<\/strong>, potentially reducing electricity bills by <strong>\u20b92,000<\/strong>.
