As part of the first phase, <strong>five buses each were assigned to Yavatmal and Umarkhed depots today<\/strong>. Given that many buses <strong>serving the district were old and insufficient<\/strong>, he had <strong>requested the Transport Minister<\/strong> to allocate <strong>new buses<\/strong> for the region. Responding to this appeal, the state government has sanctioned <strong>10 new buses in the first phase<\/strong>, with <strong>five each for Umarkhed and Yavatmal depots<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>inauguration ceremony<\/strong> at the Yavatmal depot was attended by <strong>MLA Balasaheb Mangulkar, Depot Manager Chhagan Divse, Mechanical Engineer Narsing Chavan, Divisional Transport Officer Dadarav Darade<\/strong>, along with <strong>transport department officials, staff, and passengers<\/strong>. The new buses were formally <strong>dedicated to public service by cutting the ribbon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister Rathod reaffirmed that <strong>ST Corporation buses continue to be the backbone of rural transportation<\/strong> and strengthening this system remains a <strong>top priority<\/strong>. He mentioned that he had been persistently <strong>urging the Transport Minister to provide more buses<\/strong>, leading to the <strong>allocation of 10 buses today<\/strong>. Additionally, <strong>all nine depots in the district will receive 10 new buses each, totaling 90 buses<\/strong>.
