The system will allow petitioners to receive SMS updates on the status of their applications. A detailed presentation on this initiative was held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Maharashtra state government aims to provide swift relief to citizens by integrating technology into administrative processes. In line with this vision, the PGRS system has been developed to handle petitions, applications, and complaints related to various departments and issues during CM Fadnavis\u2019s visits and at the Nagpur CM Secretariat. Asha Pathan, Special Officer at the CM Secretariat, gave a comprehensive presentation on how the online system will function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under this system, incoming petitions and complaints will be categorized department-wise and issue-wise. These documents will be scanned and electronically forwarded to the relevant departments for necessary action. Petitioners will be notified of each step via SMS, including confirmation that their petition has been resolved.
