A total of 1009 candidates across the country have been successful. Among them, more than 90 candidates from the state have achieved outstanding success. <strong>Archit Parag Dongre<\/strong> has secured the <strong>first rank from the state<\/strong> and <strong>third rank in the country<\/strong>. <strong>Shivansh Subhash Jagdale<\/strong> has secured the <strong>26th All India Rank<\/strong>. Interviews of candidates who passed the exam were held between January \u2013 April 2025. A total of <strong>1009 candidates<\/strong> who passed the examination have been recommended by UPSC for appointment to posts in various services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The distribution among categories is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>General<\/strong> \u2013 335<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Economically Weaker Section (EWS)<\/strong> \u2013 109<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Other Backward Classes (OBC)<\/strong> \u2013 318<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scheduled Castes (SC)<\/strong> \u2013 160<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scheduled Tribes (ST)<\/strong> \u2013 87<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Out of the total successful candidates, <strong>725 are men and 284 are women<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of <strong>50 differently-abled<\/strong> candidates are among the successful ones. The official result and names of successful candidates are available on the UPSC website <a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.upsc.gov.in\">www.upsc.gov.in<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, Maharashtra\u2019s <strong>Mr. Archit Parag Dongre (Roll No. 0867282)<\/strong>, who graduated in <strong>Electrical and Electronics Engineering from VIT Vellore<\/strong>, secured the <strong>third rank nationwide<\/strong>, choosing <strong>Philosophy as his optional subject<\/strong> in the UPSC exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the <strong>top 25 candidates<\/strong>, there are <strong>11 women and 14 men<\/strong>.
