To meet the demand of commuters, Metro Railway Authorities are going to increase the numbers in Metro services on the Purple Line between Joka and Majerhat Metro stations from 13.05.2025 (Tuesday). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A total of 62 services (31 UP + 31 DN) on this stretch will be operated at an interval of 24 minutes from that day. At present, 40 services (20 UP + 20 DN) are being operated daily from Monday to Friday on Purple Line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Service hours on this Corridor are also going to increase to 07:57 hrs to 20:17 hrs instead of 08:27 hrs to 15:43 hrs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There will be no services on Saturdays & Sundays as usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
