In this intensive 21-day operation conducted on the <strong>Karegutta Hills<\/strong>, security forces eliminated <strong>31 notorious Maoist insurgents<\/strong> and recovered a significant cache of weapons. CM Sai described the operation as a <strong>crucial step towards a Naxal-free Chhattisgarh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beginning his address with chants of \u201c<strong>Bharat Mata Ki Jai<\/strong>\u201d and \u201c<strong>Chhattisgarh Mahtari Ki Jai<\/strong>,\u201d the Chief Minister praised the bravery and dedication of the security personnel. He said, \u201cOur jawans have shown unmatched courage and commitment. This achievement is not just for Bijapur, but for the entire state.\u201d The Karegutta and Galgam areas, long considered Maoist strongholds, now inspire new hope for peace and safety due to this operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his interaction with CRPF personnel, CM Sai lauded their valor, stating, \u201cIt is through your dedication and sacrifice that we are steadily winning the fight against Naxalism.\u201d He further emphasized that since his government came to power 18 months ago, they have worked relentlessly to ensure good governance across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added, \u201cDespite operating under extreme temperatures of 44 degrees Celsius, our forces have conducted multiple challenging missions. I salute such indomitable courage.\u201d CM Sai reiterated his belief that security camps are also <em>facilitation hubs<\/em>, helping bring essential services like <strong>ration, electricity, healthcare, education, and mobile connectivity<\/strong> to remote areas of Bastar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He mentioned that <strong>Mooler<\/strong> was the first area to get a security camp under his administration, and now nearby villages have access to various amenities. Under the leadership of <strong>Prime Minister Narendra Modi<\/strong> and <strong>Home Minister Amit Shah<\/strong>, the anti-Naxal campaign has seen continuous success. The state government aims to make Chhattisgarh <strong>completely Naxal-free by March 2026<\/strong>, a goal CM Sai believes is achievable thanks to the courage of the security forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also acknowledged the importance of community engagement through initiatives like <strong>Niyad Nellanar Yojana<\/strong>, which has played a crucial role in building trust with locals in Bastar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the visit, CM Sai also interacted with <strong>local beneficiaries<\/strong>, distributing <strong>ration cards, Ayushman health cards<\/strong>, and <strong>approval letters under a special PM Awas Yojana project<\/strong> for families affected by Naxalism and for those who have surrendered. He assured the people that the government would <strong>accelerate development work<\/strong>, and prioritize <strong>education, healthcare, and employment<\/strong> in the region. He emphasized that along with the efforts of the security forces, <strong>cooperation from local communities<\/strong> is equally essential to achieve a Naxal-free Chhattisgarh by March 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CM Sai promised improvements in <strong>road connectivity, electricity, and water supply<\/strong> to integrate the region with the mainstream. He also pledged that <strong>education and healthcare<\/strong> would be given top priority in Naxal-affected areas. At the Galgam camp, he posed for photographs with the soldiers, cheered them on with patriotic slogans, and shared a meal with them, further boosting morale. The soldiers responded with patriotic slogans, showing their zeal and commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the event, <strong>DGP Arun Dev Gautam<\/strong> praised the civic action initiatives led by the security forces. <strong>Bijapur Collector Sambit Mishra<\/strong> informed the CM that under <em>Sushasan Tihar 2025<\/em>, a <strong>Samadhan Camp<\/strong> was recently held in Galgam, receiving <strong>1,590 applications<\/strong>, most of which were related to <strong>forest rights<\/strong>.
