Safety and education of girls is our top priority: Sandeep Singh<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lucknow : Girls in Uttar Pradesh are no longer just studying \u2014 they are questioning and seeking solutions too. A powerful example of this was witnessed on Wednesday when more than 80,000 students from Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) and over 12,000 staff members joined a Zoom session together as part of \u2018Mission Samadhan Series-01\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event was not just about awareness and communication \u2014 it served as a platform to encourage girls to speak up and become aware of their rights, entitlements, and safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mission Samadhan is becoming a strong pillar of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath\u2019s girl-empowerment model. This initiative aims to reinforce grassroots implementation of schemes like Mission Shakti, Women\u2019s Helpline 1090, Women PAC, POCSO Awareness Campaign, and Cyber Safety Awareness. It also prepares girls at the school level to become self-reliant citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the students, Director General of School Education Kanchan Verma said, \u201cEvery problem has a solution. Education empowers us. Learn to distinguish between right and wrong and never hesitate. Learn skills \u2014 that is your true strength.\u201d She also encouraged teachers and parents to engage in discussions about the future of girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experts share insights on self-defense and confidence-building<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the various sessions of the program, experts provided practical and life-skill-based knowledge. Dr. Mukesh Kumar Singh, Senior Expert on Girls\u2019 Education, Samagra Shiksha, Uttar Pradesh, guided the girls on physical and financial provisions in KGBVs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the second session titled \u2018Stay Safe, Stay Happy\u2019, topics like cyber safety, good touch-bad touch, and helpline services were discussed. Archana Agnihotri, Founder Director of Samadhan Abhiyan, directly interacted with the girls in the third session, stating, \u201cThe courage to ask questions is the first step to finding solutions.\u201d In the final session, Ms. Sarita Singh presented the framework of safety sessions being conducted in the schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Mission Samadhan\u2019 becomes a platform for dialogue, safety, and empowerment<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presence of over 12,000 teaching and support staff, active involvement of all district coordinators, and enthusiastic participation of the girls turned this series into a mass movement. It was not merely a virtual session \u2014 it marked a new beginning of self-confidence among the girls, who declared with pride, \u201cWe are ready!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
