Radhakrishnan<\/strong>, participated in the national ceremony via video link from <strong>Parel Railway Station<\/strong>. Speaking to the media afterward, CM Fadnavis announced a major redevelopment plan for Mumbai\u2019s iconic <strong>Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT)<\/strong> \u2014 a <strong>UNESCO World Heritage Site<\/strong> \u2014 under which the station will be modernized with an allocation of <strong>\u20b92,800 crore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CM Fadnavis emphasized that initiatives such as <strong>Vande Bharat Rail<\/strong>, <strong>Namo Bharat<\/strong>, and <strong>Amrit Bharat Station Scheme<\/strong> are driving a transformative change in Indian Railways. He highlighted that, under PM Modi\u2019s leadership, India has built a rail network in the past 11 years that now <strong>exceeds the length of Germany\u2019s rail system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRailway stations across the country are being developed to the standard of airports,\u201d said Fadnavis. \u201cModern amenities that were once limited to airports will now be accessible to the common citizen at railway stations, thanks to the Amrit Bharat Station initiative.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also stated that the redevelopment of <strong>Parel, Chinchpokli, Matunga, and Wadala Road suburban stations<\/strong> in Mumbai, along with 11 other stations in Maharashtra, has been completed and inaugurated.
