Chief Minister Participates in ABVP\u2019s Civic Felicitation Ceremony<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raipur<\/strong> : Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the Civic Felicitation Ceremony<\/em> organized as part of the National Executive Council Meeting<\/em> of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP)<\/em> held at the Krishi Mandapam Auditorium of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University in Raipur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Sai stated, \u201cYouth power is nation\u2019s power. India has the largest youth population in the world, and their role will be crucial in transforming India into a developed nation by 2047.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chief Minister remarked that ABVP is the world\u2019s largest student organization, and it is a matter of pride that Chhattisgarh is hosting this three-day national council meeting. He emphasized that life is incomplete without education, which is the key to development. He highlighted that top educational institutions like IIT, AIIMS, IIIT, and National Law University are now present in Chhattisgarh. With the implementation of the New Education Policy<\/em> in the state, efforts are being made to link education with employment. The state-run Prayas<\/em> initiative is helping school children receive quality education, and many of its students are succeeding in competitive exams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CM Sai added that for youth aspiring to appear for civil services and other competitive exams, a Tribal Youth Hostel<\/em> has been established in New Delhi, which now has a capacity of 200 seats. Across the state, Nalanda Campuses<\/em> are being developed to provide students with a peaceful learning environment. The state has also initiated teaching medical courses in Hindi and is imparting primary education in native languages like Gondi and Halbi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also mentioned that Chhattisgarh\u2019s new industrial policy is receiving appreciation nationwide. The policy is attracting investments and creating ample employment opportunities for youth. Projects such as semiconductor chip manufacturing<\/em> and AI data centers<\/em> have been launched, offering tremendous job potential for young professionals. The CM affirmed that the government has handed over the investigation of corruption in the PSC (Public Service Commission) to the CBI, stressing that protecting the future of the youth is a top priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talking about \u2018Sushasan Tihar\u2019<\/em> (Good Governance Festival), CM Sai explained that the government is taking feedback from the public on its work over the past 1.5 years. The third phase of the initiative is currently underway, during which officials are visiting different regions. Issues raised in the first phase were addressed in the second, and now the government is directly engaging with the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also mentioned fulfilling most of the guarantees made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, including the PM Awas Yojana<\/em> (housing) and the Mahtari Vandan<\/em> scheme. Under the latter, 70 lakh women are receiving financial support. He shared heartwarming stories\u2014such as a woman in Narayanpur who bought a sewing machine and now earns \u20b94,000\u2013\u20b95,000 a month, and another who runs a small grocery store thanks to the scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chhattisgarh is the first state to establish a dedicated Department of Good Governance and Convergence<\/em>. The government\u2019s operations are transparent, and the administration is moving towards complete digitization. Files are now processed through e-file systems<\/em>, and all channels of corruption are being shut down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
