Better Road Infrastructure Will Play a Key Role in Building a Developed Rajasthan, Says Minister Jogaram Patel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaipur<\/strong> \u2013 Parliamentary Affairs, Law and Legal Affairs Minister Shri Jogaram Patel<\/strong> laid the foundation stones on Sunday for two road construction projects in Jodhpur\u2019s Kudi Bhagtasani area<\/strong>, undertaken by the Jodhpur Development Authority<\/strong>. The projects include a \u20b990.83 lakh road construction in Rameshwar Nagar<\/strong> and another \u20b986.80 lakh road in Sangam Nagar<\/strong>, Chamunda Temple premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Patel emphasized that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma<\/strong>, the state government is firmly committed to strengthening the road network across Rajasthan. He stated that a robust road system is crucial to the development of a modern and progressive Rajasthan<\/strong>. Highlighting this commitment, Patel noted that the state budget has allocated \u20b97,690 crore for road infrastructure development and upgradation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He assured that roads in all regions will be developed in a phased and priority-based manner to ensure connectivity and ease of transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promoting Yoga for One Earth, One Health<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Minister Patel also reflected on the successful celebration of the 11th International Yoga Day<\/strong>, observed globally with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.”<\/strong> He credited the widespread practice of yoga around the world to the revered yoga gurus who have preserved and promoted this ancient tradition for centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vande Ganga: A Movement for Water Conservation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Minister Patel highlighted the \u2018Vande Ganga\u2019 Water Conservation Jan Abhiyan<\/strong> initiated under CM Bhajanlal Sharma\u2019s leadership. The campaign, aimed at making Rajasthan self-reliant in water and greenery<\/strong>, is focused on reviving traditional water structures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that ancient water sources such as stepwells, wells, and ponds<\/strong> were once the heart of communities<\/strong> and essential to cultural heritage. Their protection and restoration<\/strong> are now a matter of priority, he said, calling for collective responsibility in preserving these water bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tap Water for Every Household in Rajasthan<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Shri Patel announced that due to CM Sharma\u2019s relentless efforts, the Jal Jeevan Mission\u2019s timeline has been extended to 2028<\/strong>, ensuring tap water reaches every household in the state<\/strong>. He revealed that as per the budget announcement<\/strong>, 20 lakh households will receive drinking water connections<\/strong> this year alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that Jodhpur\u2019s persistent drinking water issues<\/strong> will find a permanent solution with the completion of Phase III of the Rajiv Gandhi Canal Project<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strengthening Power Infrastructure in the Region<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Minister Patel further informed that the power infrastructure in the region is also being fortified. The construction of two 132 kV and one 33 kV Grid Sub-Stations (GSS)<\/strong> is underway. He assured that once the GSS projects and the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS)<\/strong> are completed, the region will witness a permanent resolution to electricity supply issues<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
