Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, during a high-level meeting held at the Chief Minister\u2019s residence on Monday, directed officials to initiate a high-altitude ultra marathon aimed at promoting tourism in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He instructed that this marathon be organized in the Kumaon region from Gunji to Adi Kailash, and in the Garhwal region from Niti Mana to Malari. The Chief Minister further directed that this event be included in the annual tourism calendar and that its regular organization on a fixed date each year be ensured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also instructed officials to further strengthen the disaster management system and ensure that financial assistance is provided to affected individuals within a stipulated timeframe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to prepare a detailed plan for fencing or solar fencing to protect crops in border and hilly areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Present at the meeting were Principal Secretaries Shri R.K. Sudhanshu and Shri R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Secretary Shri Shailesh Bagauli, and Additional Secretary Shri Banshidhar Tiwari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
