In the <strong>tribal-dominated Jashpur district<\/strong>, home to many <strong>Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs)<\/strong> like the <strong>Pahadi Korwa community<\/strong>, this scheme has become a source of hope and support. Children such as <strong>Anjali Bai, Anshika<\/strong>, and <strong>Ritesh<\/strong>, who were battling serious heart conditions or other illnesses, have found <strong>new life<\/strong> thanks to Chirayu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anjali Bai<\/strong>, born in the remote village of <strong>Sonkyari<\/strong> in Manora block of Jashpur and belonging to the Pahadi Korwa tribe, was diagnosed with a <strong>hole in her heart<\/strong>. Her father <strong>Nanhu Ram<\/strong>, a daily wage laborer, was devastated upon learning of her condition and didn\u2019t know how to proceed. Initial tests at the local health center led to further screening by the <strong>Chirayu team<\/strong>, confirming her diagnosis. She was then taken to a <strong>leading private hospital in Raipur<\/strong>, where she underwent a <strong>successful surgery<\/strong> and has now fully recovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several other children from poor families in the district have similarly benefited from the scheme. <strong>Ritesh<\/strong>, the son of <strong>Sudarshan Chauhan<\/strong> from <strong>Puranitoli<\/strong>, Jashpur, was also found to have a hole in his heart. His father, who sustains the family through labor work, could not afford private hospital expenses. He took his son to the district hospital, where doctors informed him about the Chirayu Scheme. Ritesh was referred to <strong>Raipur<\/strong>, where he received <strong>free treatment and surgery<\/strong>, and is now healthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In another case, <strong>Anshika<\/strong>, daughter of <strong>Kritibai and Dhaneshwar Yadav<\/strong> from <strong>Behratoli village<\/strong> in <strong>Kunkuri block<\/strong>, received initial treatment at <strong>Raipur Medical College, Sri Sathya Sai Hospital<\/strong>, and <strong>AIIMS Raipur<\/strong>. Later, she underwent <strong>heart surgery at Apollo Hospital in Chennai<\/strong>, which cost \u20b914.5 lakh.
