The initiative aims to provide the general public with <strong>safe and standard-quality cosmetics<\/strong> in view of the upcoming festive season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under this campaign, several leading cosmetic retail outlets in the city were inspected under the supervision of <strong>drug inspectors<\/strong>. Establishments that were examined include <strong>Day-to-Day Retails (Banaras Road)<\/strong>, <strong>Neha Fashion Park (Chandni Chowk)<\/strong>, <strong>Saheli Stores (Deviganj Road)<\/strong>, <strong>Chawla General Stores (Babra Complex)<\/strong>, and <strong>Mahamaya Shringar (Gudri Gali)<\/strong>. The inspection involved checking the sale and storage conditions of cosmetic items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the inspections, <strong>suspicious cosmetic product samples were collected<\/strong> and sent to the <strong>State Drug Testing Laboratory in Raipur<\/strong> for quality analysis. Based on the test reports, <strong>appropriate legal action<\/strong> will be taken under the <strong>Drugs and Cosmetics Act<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FDA has urged consumers to <strong>carefully examine product packaging<\/strong>, including the <strong>manufacture and expiry dates<\/strong>, and <strong>manufacturer details<\/strong> before purchasing cosmetic items.
