In <strong>Baghmara village of Balod district<\/strong>, the campaign has become an inspiring example of <strong>women\u2019s empowerment<\/strong> and <strong>self-reliance<\/strong>. Women from four self-help groups here are actively engaged in making the national tricolor flag. So far, they have made <strong>over 6,000 flags<\/strong>, earning around <strong>\u20b92 lakh<\/strong> in income.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative has not only provided a new means of livelihood for local women but also deeply instilled a sense of <strong>patriotism and pride<\/strong> among them. The flags made by these groups are being sold through stalls set up in local markets, shops, and government offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mrs. Tijan Bai from the <strong>Jai Kapileshwar Group<\/strong> shared, <em>\u201cOur sewing machines are running day and night. Each flag carries our love and patriotic spirit. This work is making us self-reliant while giving us the pride of serving the nation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mrs. Devki Vishwakarma from the <strong>Saheli Group<\/strong> said, <em>\u201cEarlier, we depended on small odd jobs, but this campaign has given us a new identity. Making the tricolor is not just work \u2014 it\u2019s a passion to do something for the country.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mrs. Sarojini Sahu from the <strong>Navjyoti Group<\/strong> proudly expressed, <em>\u201cWhen the flags we make flutter in homes across the village and district, we feel a deep sense of pride. Our aim is for every home to hoist the tricolor and for our village to lead in this campaign.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Special care is being taken to ensure the <strong>quality of the flags<\/strong>. Using sewing machines, the women skillfully combine the three colors of the national flag \u2014 saffron, white, and green \u2014 with precision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>District Collector <strong>Mrs. Divya Umesh Mishra<\/strong> has appealed to all residents to actively participate in the <em>Har Ghar Tiranga<\/em> campaign, saying, <em>\u201cThe tricolors made with hard work by these women\u2019s groups will bring pride to your homes. Celebrate the festival of patriotism by hoisting the tricolor on August 15.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Assistant Project Officer of the <strong>Bihan Scheme<\/strong>, 13 self-help groups in the district have so far produced and sold <strong>over 8,000 flags<\/strong>, with an additional order for <strong>5,000 more<\/strong>.
