This road has freed villagers from the long-standing problem of a dilapidated road. With its construction, commuting has become convenient for residents, directly benefiting thousands of people from three villages. Local people have expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Villagers shared that earlier this road was full of potholes and badly damaged. In 2023, the road was rebuilt under the PMGSY. Due to good quality construction and regular maintenance, the road remains in excellent condition. Previously, during monsoons, mud and waterlogging made the route even more difficult. Schoolchildren, patients, and villagers traveling to towns for work faced great inconvenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local farmer <strong>Sahdev Kaushik<\/strong> said, <em>\u201cAfter the road was built, it became much easier to take our crops to the city. Earlier, due to poor roads, tractors and vehicles often got stuck, leading to loss of time and money. Now we are directly connected to the city.\u201d<\/em><br>Similarly, student <strong>Yug Bhargava<\/strong> said that now they no longer face trouble in reaching school, and the risk of accidents has also reduced. Elderly villagers remarked that the road is nothing less than a \u201clifeline\u201d for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the construction of this road, the faces of villagers from Bahtarai, Parsahi, and Bijaur reflect joy. Travel has become easier, time is being saved, accidents have decreased, and farmers can now transport their crops directly to the city without obstruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>PM Gram Sadak Yojana \u2013 The Lifeline of Rural Development<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Government of India launched the <em>Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana<\/em> on <strong>December 25, 2000<\/strong>. The then Prime Minister <strong>Atal Bihari Vajpayee<\/strong> envisioned connecting rural areas with all-weather roads. The main objective of the scheme is to link villages with a population of 500 or more (250 in hilly and desert areas) with durable, all-weather roads.
