Narendra Modi has given a big gift to the people on the occasion of Navratri by announcing major reforms in GST. She said this is an important step towards the Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the Haryana Government will also ensure that the benefits reach the common people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Health Minister was addressing a press conference in Narnaul on \u2018Next Generation GST Reforms\u2019 and \u2018GST Bachat Utsav\u2019. She informed that these reforms have come into effect from September 22. With the combination of new GST reforms and income tax relief, people will be able to make substantial annual savings. She said, \u201cOne Nation, One Tax has made the country economically stronger.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She further explained that the earlier four GST rates (5 percent, 12 percent, 18 percent, and 28 percent) have been reduced to two main rates \u2013 5 percent and 18 percent. The Health Minister stated that with this step, about 99 percent of items used in daily life now fall under 5 percent or lower GST rates, leading to major savings for the common man. In addition, the government has also gifted relief to the middle class by making annual income up to Rs 12 lakh tax-free in this year\u2019s budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Health Minister appealed to the citizens to adopt indigenous products. She added that these reforms will simplify the tax system for industries and traders, helping their businesses to grow. This next-generation GST brings will benefit farmers, entrepreneurs, families and businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On this occasion, former minister and Narnaul MLA Sh.
