The products made by women from self-help groups (SHGs) in Korea district have become a highlight of the fair. The aroma and taste of <strong>Amrit Modak<\/strong> and <strong>Korea Amrit Pickle<\/strong> have captivated visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two self-help groups from the district achieved remarkable success at the fair. The <strong>Jyoti Mahila Self-Help Group<\/strong> sold over <strong>200 kg of Amrit Modak<\/strong>, earning <strong>\u20b988,000<\/strong>, while the <strong>Jagruti Mahila Self-Help Group<\/strong> sold <strong>260 kg of pickles<\/strong> and <strong>36 kg of papad-badi<\/strong>, generating an income exceeding <strong>\u20b91 lakh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vendors, buyers, and tourists at the fair appreciated the quality and taste of Korea district\u2019s products and expressed interest in placing future orders. Women from these SHGs are bringing products made from local resources and traditional methods to a national platform, contributing to <strong>women\u2019s empowerment<\/strong> and boosting the <strong>rural economy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Collector Mrs. Chandan Tripathi<\/strong> stated that the administration is making every effort to enhance the <strong>economic independence and social empowerment<\/strong> of women working in district SHGs.
