Patna, Oct 2025:<\/strong> Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and the Bharatiya Janata Party’s star campaigner Yogi Adityanath, on Thursday, entered Bihar\u2019s election battlefield, addressing rallies in support of BJP\u2019s Ramkripal Yadav (Danapur) and NDA\u2019s Shyam Rajak (Phulwari Sharif). Launching a sharp attack on the RJD\u2013Congress alliance, he accused them of derailing Bihar\u2019s growth by fueling divisive \u201cdevelopment versus burqa\u201d politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThose who once pushed Bihar into Jungle Raj are again trying to mislead people,\u201d Yogi said, warning voters against \u201cfake polling\u201d and alleging that RJD\u2013Congress wanted to return to the era of ballot snatching and fraudulent voting. He said these parties oppose EVMs because they fear transparent elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chief Minister reminded the crowd of Bihar\u2019s dark years between 1990 and 2005, saying that under RJD\u2013Congress rule, \u201cthe land of knowledge became a hub of crime and dynasty politics.\u201d He accused them of sheltering mafias and driving Biharis to migrate in search of livelihood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlighting the NDA\u2019s record, Yogi said, \u201cIn Uttar Pradesh, mafias are on their way to hell\u2014their properties are being seized and used to build houses for the poor.\u201d Under Prime Minister Modi\u2019s leadership, he added, the NDA has ensured inclusive development, while \u201cthe Congress\u2013RJD agenda has always been for family welfare, not public welfare.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CM Yogi said the NDA has freed Bihar from decades of stagnation and crime. \u201cNo one can now obstruct development or treat crime as a birthright,\u201d he declared. He credited the central and state governments with advancing infrastructure and curbing mafias that once hindered progress. Highlighting Bihar\u2019s resurgence, the Chief Minister recalled that between 1990 and 2005, corruption and scams\u2014like the massive fodder scam\u2014stifled youth talent and delayed development. \u201cToday, Bihar stands transformed, with modern infrastructure and opportunities for its people,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He emphasized the importance of a transparent election process, saying every voter must show an ID to cast their vote. He criticized RJD, Congress, and their allies for allegedly promoting \u201cfake polling,\u201d calling it a threat to democracy and a denial of rights to Bihar\u2019s citizens, youth, Dalits, and the underprivileged. \u201cEverywhere in the world, voters show their ID, but these parties want anyone to vote without identification,\u201d he said, urging people to safeguard the integrity of the polls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He recalled how Bihar rose against Congress during the Emergency, with Jayaprakash Narayan giving the clarion call from Patna to protect democracy. \u201cToday, the same Congress has RJD mortgaged in its lap, betraying JP\u2019s dreams and hiding their corruption under its shadow,\u201d the CM said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CM Yogi hailed Bihar as the mother of democracy, pointing to Vaishali\u2019s republic, Nalanda University, and the state\u2019s great heroes, nation-builders, and cultural icons. He emphasized the shared heritage between Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, likening it to the bond between Lord Ram and Mother Sita, and urged that the progress achieved under Nitish Kumar\u2019s leadership and NDA governance over the past 20 years must continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlighting cultural and spiritual milestones, he recalled that Ram devotees once questioned whether the Ram temple in Ayodhya would ever be built. \u201cToday, the temple stands completed, and a Rs 900-crore Mother Sita temple is under construction in Bihar,\u201d he said, celebrating the state\u2019s connection to figures like Chandragupta Maurya, Lord Buddha, and Chanakya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CM Yogi also highlighted key developmental projects, including metro initiatives, universities, inland waterways, airports, and employment opportunities for youth. He referenced initiatives strengthening historical ties, such as Uttar Pradesh\u2019s first law university in Prayagraj named after Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the Ram\u2013Janaki Path connecting Ayodhya to Sitamarhi, and the development of Jayaprakash Narayan\u2019s birthplace in Ballia with a hospital and memorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stated: “The relationship between Uttar Pradesh and Bihar is a shared heritage, a bond of soul, culture and determination that is unbreakable likethat between Lord Ram and Mother Sita.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On governance and anti-crime measures, the Chief Minister drew parallels with UP: \u201cLand confiscated from mafias is being used to build homes for the poor. The same will happen in Bihar.\u201d He reiterated that under the NDA, Bihar is free from criminal interference and corruption, enabling youth and citizens to thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concluding with a symbolic note, CM Yogi said, \u201cDuring Diwali, every home shines with light, and during Chhath, the entire state celebrates with devotion. In the same way, the lotus of democracy must bloom on this land of democracy.
