New Delhi, Oct 2025<\/strong> : Delhi (National Capital Territory of Delhi) will soon have its own official logo<\/strong>, which will be unveiled on November 1<\/strong>, celebrated as Delhi Day (Foundation Day)<\/strong>. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta<\/strong> announced that this will be the first-ever official logo of the Delhi Government, representing the capital\u2019s distinct identity in a new symbolic form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Chief Minister, the logo will reflect Delhi\u2019s modern, transparent, and people-centric governance<\/strong>, while also defining the harmony between the city\u2019s culture and its development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To select the official logo, CM Rekha Gupta had earlier formed a special committee<\/strong>. A meeting of the committee was held today under her chairmanship. The meeting was attended by PWD and Water Minister Pravesh Sahib Singh<\/strong>, Environment and Industries Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa<\/strong>, Chief Secretary Rajeev Verma<\/strong>, members of the expert committee<\/strong>, and other senior officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, the committee reviewed and discussed the shortlisted designs, which highlighted Delhi\u2019s unique identity, glorious history, culture, development, and the aspirations of its people<\/strong>. After detailed deliberations, the final logos were shortlisted. The Chief Minister said that in the next meeting, the official logo of Delhi will be finalized<\/strong>, and it will be formally released on November 1, Delhi Day<\/strong> \u2014 becoming the permanent symbol of the national capital<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CM Rekha Gupta also noted that Delhi currently does not have an official logo<\/strong>, unlike most Indian states that already have distinctive symbols representing their identity. She said that as soon as her government took office, it began work on designing and selecting one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A logo design competition<\/strong> was organized on the MyGov.in portal<\/strong>, inviting entries from across the country. More than 1,800 designs<\/strong> were received. To evaluate and shortlist the submissions, a committee headed by the Secretary of the General Administration Department<\/strong> was formed. The committee reviewed all the entries and selected a few for final consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expressing her enthusiasm, the Chief Minister said, \u201cIt is a privilege for my government to be part of this historic initiative. The logo will establish Delhi\u2019s distinct identity as a new symbol. Our goal is to showcase Delhi as a modern, transparent, and welfare-oriented state<\/strong>, and to build a strong brand<\/strong> that represents democracy, technological progress, and citizen participation<\/strong>. This logo will embody the vibrancy, unity, and progressive spirit<\/strong> of the national capital.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
