The renewed round of “breakfast diplomacy,” fully endorsed by the Congress high command, is aimed at signaling unity amid ongoing political speculation.

Adding a personal touch to the meeting, Shivakumar announced that ‘naati koli’ (country chicken)—a dish widely known to be one of Siddaramaiah’s favourites—will be specially prepared for the occasion.

“I have invited the Hon’ble Chief Minister for breakfast tomorrow to discuss and strengthen our collective efforts to deliver on our promises to the people of Karnataka,” the Deputy Chief Minister posted on X on Monday.
