Aizawl, December 2025:<\/strong> The Mizoram State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MSCPCR)<\/strong>, in collaboration with the Aizawl Municipal Corporation (AMC)<\/strong>, conducted a ceremony to announce the High School Ranking 2025<\/strong> for MBSE-recognized schools. The event took place at the Economics & Statistics Conference Hall, MINECO<\/strong>, with Information, Public Relations, Printing & Stationery Minister B. Lalchhanzova<\/strong> presiding over the ceremony, and MSCPCR Member Pi Vanhmingliani<\/strong> officiating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 2025 School Ranking<\/strong>, Nazareth Higher Secondary School<\/strong> secured the 1st position<\/strong>, followed by Govt. Central High School<\/strong> at 2nd place and Living Water School<\/strong> at 3rd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister B. Lalchhanzova<\/strong> stated that school excellence is not just about exam results but also includes the overall development of children, their rights, and a safe learning environment. The ranking system evaluates schools on a broader scale, incorporating child rights education and protection measures<\/strong>, ensuring students understand their rights and responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MSCPCR Chairperson Jimmy Laltlanmawia<\/strong> mentioned that the research report for the ranking was prepared under the guidance of Prof. Lynda Zohmingliani<\/strong>, Principal Investigator. The research assessed schools based on the five key child rights<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The assessment covered 120 MBSE-recognized high schools<\/strong> within AMC jurisdiction, involving headmasters, teachers, students, and parents<\/strong> through detailed questionnaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
