275 CM Rise schools operating in the state

The School Education Department is working in a planned manner for the qualitative improvement of education in government schools. In the first phase, 275 CM Rise schools are being operated in various districts of the state. In the second phase, a program has been prepared to develop 5 thousand 986 schools in the state as CM Rise Schools.

The first fully equipped building of the state’s CM Rise School Yojana Government Higher Secondary School, Gulana, Shajapur district has been dedicated. In the first phase, administrative approval has been issued for the construction of buildings of 270 CM Rise schools. Of these, building construction work has started in 247 schools. Construction of 122 CM Rise school buildings will be completed in the state in 2024-25. The CM Rise School Yojana has received the national level prestigious SKOCH Award in 2023 in the category of quality inclusive education and good governance. Free transport service has also been started for children to reach school under CM Rise School being run in the state.

Recruitment of more than 32 thousand teachers

In the last three academic sessions in the state, 32 thousand 82 teachers have been recruited by the School Education Department on primary, secondary, and higher secondary teachers and other posts.

Distribution of free bicycles

To enable children in the state to reach school conveniently, free bicycles will be distributed to 4 lakh 50 thousand eligible students in 2024-25. Under the new Shikshak Awas Yojana, a housing scheme has been approved for rural teachers to bring more quality to the educational system. The state government has also prepared a proficiency framework for the children of I and II. Based on the learning outcomes determined in this, exercise books and learning kits of Hindi, English and Mathematics have been prepared and distributed.

Sanitation and Hygiene Scheme

Under the Sanitation and Hygiene Scheme in the state, an amount of Rs 57 crore has been transferred to the bank accounts of 19 lakh girl students studying in classes VII to XII through a single click by the School Education Department.
