The others wore the tricolor, creating a strong feeling of national pride and unity. During the event, I noticed an 11-year-old girl who delivered a truly wonderful speech. Her words were so inspiring that I felt compelled to capture the moment on my camera and share it with a wider audience. I was truly delighted to see such a young, talented, and confident leader in our country. It is inspiring to witness a child of just 11 years expressing her thoughts so clearly and passionately, showing a maturity beyond her years.       Jia 78th Independence Day Speech at Om Sree Signet Hyderabad 1
      ndian Army’s Director General of Military Operations (DGMO), Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, announced on Sunday that Operation Sindoor achieved its primary goal of eliminating terrorism. In a press briefing, Lt Gen Ghai stated that over 100 terrorists were neutralized and multiple terror hideouts were destroyed during the operation. “The Indian Army has given a strong and effective response to the recent terrorist attacks. We have confirmed the destruction of several terrorist bases with clear evidence,” he said. Lt Gen Ghai revealed that three high-profile terrorists – Yusuf Azhar, Abdul Malik Rauf, and Mudassir Ahmed – were among those killed. These individuals had long been involved in planning and executing attacks against India and were wanted for their roles in the IC-814 hijacking and the Pulwama attack. Security agencies had been tracking them for years. The DGMO clarified that this military operation was planned in response to the terrorist attack on Indian civilians in Pahalgam. He added that Indian intelligence had identified multiple terror camps across the border, some of which were evacuated, but nine active hideouts were still in operation. These were the primary targets of Operation Sindoor. “The objective was to eliminate these terrorists and dismantle their infrastructure completely,” he said. According to Indian intelligence reports, the hideouts were located in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Punjab province in Pakistan, including Muridke, a location previously associated with notorious terrorists such as Ajmal Kasab and David Headley. To support the Army’s claims, Lt Gen Ghai presented satellite imagery showing the condition of terror hideouts before and after the airstrikes. The images, he said, clearly demonstrated the extensive damage inflicted by the Indian armed forces. He further alleged that Pakistan violated the ceasefire agreement by targeting civilian areas during its retaliatory shelling. “Even gurdwaras were hit, which is a direct violation of international humanitarian norms,” he said. Despite an earlier understanding between India and Pakistan to halt hostilities, Pakistani forces reportedly resumed shelling along the Line of Control (LoC), prompting India to respond forcefully. India accused Pakistan of violating the agreement between the two DGMOs and confirmed that the Indian Army is retaliating appropriately. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri condemned the breach of the ceasefire agreement. In a special briefing on Saturday night, he said, “For the last few hours, there have been repeated violations of the understanding reached earlier today between the DGMOs of India and Pakistan. India takes these violations very seriously.” He emphasized that the armed forces have been instructed to maintain a high state of alertness and respond decisively to any further provocations. “India has urged Pakistan to act responsibly and take immediate steps to stop these violations. We expect Pakistan to deal with the situation with seriousness,” Misri added. In light of recent infiltration attempts by Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed, Border Security Force (BSF) officials confirmed that a heightened alert will be maintained along the India-Pakistan border, especially in Jammu. Operation Sindoor, a coordinated military response involving all three Indian armed forces, has been widely hailed for its precision and strategic success. It marks a significant escalation in India’s approach to cross-border terrorism, signaling a zero-tolerance policy toward attacks on civilians and military personnel. As the situation along the LoC remains tense, Indian forces continue to monitor developments closely while ensuring national security remains uncompromised.

Even in the quietest corners of the Himalayas, I never felt such stillness. After 40 minutes, we came back up, but I wished I could stay longer! The best part? They took photos of me underwater and gave them to me for free! I had my action camera, but it was so cool to have pictures of myself actually diving. The thought of going underwater, where everything is different and unknown, made my heart beat super fast. And what scared me even more? The fact that I couldn’t call out for help if I needed to! As I got into the water with my scuba gear, I held onto my instructor Johnny and my Papa, along with another diver, tightly with my eyes. They were my safety net. But as I slowly sank, I felt a tiny 'pop' in my ear, and suddenly, I started feeling more comfortable. And then, just like that, I was floating deep under the sea! The world down there was like a dream! I saw bright, colorful fish swimming around me in perfect groups, like they were dancing. The coral on the ocean floor looked like a giant, colorful painting that moved with the water. Tiny crabs crawled over rocks, and fish nibbled on the coral. It was like a fairy tale come to life! For a moment, I even forgot to breathe—not because I was scared, but because I was in awe! Everything was calm and peaceful, unlike anything I had ever experienced before. Even in the quietest corners of the Himalayas, I never felt such stillness. After 40 minutes, we came back up, but I wished I could stay longer! The best part? They took photos of me underwater and gave them to me for free! I had my action camera, but it was so cool to have pictures of myself actually diving.
