Smiles on the Faces of Complainants as Problems Are Resolved on the Spot Following District Collector’s Instructions – 176 Complaints Addressed at Public Hearing Held in Line with Chief Minister’s Orders

Jaipur : In the district-level public hearing held on Thursday at the District Collectorate Auditorium, following the instructions of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, several complainants saw their issues resolved on the spot. Some had their long-pending pensions activated, others received life-saving healthcare through free treatment, while some were granted scholarships to pursue their dreams. For others, the Foster Care Scheme provided essential support.

Jaipur MP Mrs. Manju Sharma, Jaipur Rural MP Mr. Rao Rajendra Singh, and several MLAs attended the hearing. District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni personally heard the complaints of 176 individuals, resolving many cases on the spot. For the remaining cases, the Collector directed the concerned department officials to take immediate action.

Out of the 176 cases submitted, the majority were related to issues such as the removal of encroachments, initiation of pensions, access to public welfare schemes, improvement in drinking water supply, opening roads for traffic in Patthargarhi, agricultural land disputes, old-age pensions, road infrastructure, residential land disputes, and land renaming issues. The Collector instructed the officials to address these concerns with accountability and ensure prompt resolutions.

It is worth noting that Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has shown great sensitivity towards the timely and effective resolution of public grievances. He has directed district administrations to hold regular public hearings in a transparent and responsive manner to address the concerns and problems of citizens.

MLAs Gopal Sharma, Mahendrapal Meena, Ram Avtar Bairwa, Dr. Shikha Mile Barala, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Ms. Pratibha Verma, Superintendent of Police Jaipur Rural Mr. Shantanu Kumar Singh, Additional District Collectors Mr. Suresh Kumar Naval (First) and Mrs. Vinita Singh (Second), and officials from the Medical and Health Department, Police, Electricity, Public Works, Public Health and Engineering, Agriculture, Forest, and Revenue Departments, along with other relevant departments, were also present.
