Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade today attended the department level science fair and culture festival and prize distribution program organized at Saraswati Shishu Mandir of village Gadhpichwadi of Kanker district. During this, she observed the models and projects prepared by the students and appreciated their excellent artistic models.

While addressing the students, Cabinet Minister Mrs. Rajvade said that no talent is small or big. It is very important for today’s children to have good values ​​along with education and Saraswati Shiksha Sansthan is far ahead in this work as compared to other institutions. She said that it is important for the students to be punctual and disciplined, only then they will be able to achieve their set goals.

Mrs. Rajvade said that the main objective of Saraswati Shishu Mandir is to build character as well as nation and this institution is performing its duty very well. On this occasion, former MP of Kanker Lok Sabha constituency Mr. Mohan Mandavi also addressed the students and talked about promoting moral values ​​and contributing to nation building. Kanker MLA Mr. Asharam Netam, former Chairman of State Fisheries Development Board Mr. Bharat Matiara, Principal and teachers of the institution and a large number of school children were present in the program.

State Social Welfare and Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade and Kanker MLA Shri Asharam Netam during their visit to Kanker district this evening reached the Government Residential School for the Hearing Impaired located in Village Kodabhat, where they had a cordial meeting with the deaf and dumb children. During this, the children welcomed them by singing songs, which pleased them a lot and also asked the children about the food, uniform etc. provided in the school. Thereafter, she got the children to cut the cake on the occasion of the birthday of the country’s Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and fed cake and sweets to all the children one by one with her own hands. The children too were happy to have the Social Welfare Minister amongst them.
