CM Dr. Yadav thanks Prime Minister Shri Modi for reducing export duty on onion

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Central Government has reduced the export duty of onion from 40 percent to 20 percent in the interest of farmers. He said that the farmers of the country and the state will get directly benefit from this decision of the government. With the increase in irrigation capacity in Madhya Pradesh, onion is produced on a large scale. By reducing export duty, farmers will get an increased price of their produce. He thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan for this decision.

Increase in basic duty on edible oil

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed his gratitude and said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi took another decision in the interest of farmers to increase basic duty on oilseeds and edible oils. It will increase the demand for all types of oils.

CM Dr. Yadav said that the basic duty on mustard, sunflower, groundnut, soybean oils, etc. has been increased to 32 percent. The support price for the procurement of soybeans has been fixed at Rs 4,892, the benefit of which will also be available to the farmers. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, continuous efforts are being uniformly made for the betterment and progress of all sections with equal care.
